Scholarship Update: Oliver Hamilton Memorial Scholarship

Tent of Oliver Foundation is pleased to announce that an annual $1,000 scholarship has been created in partnership with North Toronto Christian School.

Oliver Hamilton’s three children attended North Toronto Christian School from JK through to high school, the entirety of time of which Oliver served on the school board of directors.

In partnership with North Toronto Christian School, the Oliver Hamilton Memorial Scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded annually to a member of the graduating class who demonstrates a life of integrity, principled ambition, and a passion for the sciences.

We are also excited to announce that the inaugural 2024 recipient of the Oliver Hamilton Memorial Scholarship is Andrew Shen!

Andrew will be studying Computer Science at the University of Toronto beginning in the 2024 Fall term. A well-mannered, extremely hard-working and bright young man, Andrew also won the Academic Proficiency award for the highest academic average in Grade 12, the Governor General's medal for the highest academic average in combined Grade 11 and 12 studies, as well as a number of subject awards for the top student in the classes of Calculus & Vectors, Mathematics for Data Management, and Physics.

We wish Andrew Shen all the very best on his post-secondary studies and

future plans, praying that God's richest blessings carry him in all of his academic and life endeavours.
